Weekly Summary(Week 9)

This week was thanksgiving week. We only had class one day. In class we did one-handed free-signing and facial expression only free-signing. This was a fun activity. Carl partnered us up with someone in class and we worked on Classifiers by describing the pictures as well as describing location of the pictures. Very good day of learning!

Weekly Summary(Week 8)

This week in class Carl put pictures on the screen and we described a few pictures with Classifiers as a class. Then we got put into smaller groups and described the pictures using classifiers in groups. I wasn’t in class on Thursday because some of the 1^st year students told us that there wasn’t going to be class because Carl was in hospital and then I got a phone call from another student saying there was class and was misinformed.

Weekly Summary(Week 7)

I’ve been enjoying the activities we have been doing in class. I like when we read the books together and work on the Classifiers. I get to see what others are signing and how they use the classifier. This is a good activity to practice using classifiers. I liked working in groups and describing the pictures while using classifiers. It helped me get used to using classifiers and focus on details.

Weekly Summary (Week 6)

This week was easier. We didn’t have class on Tuesday because Carl was sick. It was a very helpful class on Thursday being able to focus on HMH and HMHMH. I got to understand it in a different way. Jason was here helping the class and he helped our group understand things better. While doing my free-signing videos I get more used to signing all the time.
